About D&H Restorative Health

Hi, I'm Danielle

Hello, I’m Danielle. I am a wellness coach certified in Emotional Stress Release. I am passionate about helping people take charge of their physical and emotional health. I work to support individuals in restoring their body‘s proper functions through a gentle, holistic approach.

I don't just want to help you feel better- I want you to understand more about your body and leave you with tools you can use again and again.

What Led Me Here

When my third baby was born, he struggled with constant stomach discomfort. After eating he would cry, arch his back, and sometimes projectile vomit. His pediatrician said it  was normal for newborns, but my instincts told me something wasn't right.

At two months old he started to get eczema on his face, and it quickly worsened. We decided to test our home for mold.  To our surprise, the results showed elevated levels of toxic mold- a kind that was associated with allergies and immune stress.

We couldn't see it. We couldn't smell it. Even the inspector didn't expect it to be an issue. But the air quality testing confirmed our environment was affecting my baby's gut and overall health.

How Did We Know?

A question I'm often asked is, "How did you even think to check for mold if you couldn't see or smell it?"

My sister had just walked through one of the hardest seasons of her life trying to figure out what was going on with my nephew's health. He struggled with severe eczema, frequent infections, and multiple allergies. She visited over 20 doctors- pediatricians, allergists, dermatologists, and other specialists- looking for answers.

Eventually, she found someone who referred her to a doctor who might be able to help. He wasn't taking new patients at the time, but he decided to take on my nephew as a case study for a class he was teaching. He was able to discover the root cause of my nephews ailing- mold.

At that point, my nephew was covered head to toe in eczema. He was only one year old. With the right support, his body slowly began to calm and heal.

What Then?

After watching my sister go though all of that, I wanted to test our home right away. The results showed we had the same type of mold in our house that my sister had in her apartment when my nephew was struggling.

My nephew had made major improvements with this doctor's help, but the doctor still wasn't taking new patients. He was, however, teaching a seminar on Emotional Stress Release. I had no idea what that was. My sister had to convince me to attend. My husband and I signed up for the three- day seminar and headed to Salt Lake City, UT.

All we had was hope that we could find help for our son too. Not an appointment. Not a guarantee the doctor would even be able to see him. Just hope.

The Seminar That Changed My Life

I went into that seminar the way I would go into any doctor's appointment. I hoped we would get answers, maybe some direction or medicine, and then be on our way.

I did not know what we were going to learn at the seminar- and honestly, at the time I didn't care. I was desperate for something that might help.

My son was able to be tested, and we were given a plan that included supplements and very specific diet guidelines to support his body. Because I was breastfeeding, I needed to cut out anything from my diet that he was reactive to. The list of what I could eat was much shorter than what I couldn't.

But after about six months on this regimen, my sons skin cleared up.  Over time he was able to add many foods back in. I give credit to God for leading us to that doctor- and for helping our family find a way forward.

Maybe I Could Do This

The seminar was amazing. I learned things I had never heard before. But it wasn't until I came home and started applying what I learned that I realized how valuable it was.

I was able to help deal with the stress of our current mold situation, as well as heal some deeper past traumas. I was able to help friends and family as well as I tried these techniques on other people.

I decided to get certified in ESR because I wanted to use these tools to help my children, husband, and the people close to me. I never intended to start a business.

But as I got closer to finishing my certification, friends and family encouraged me to share these tools with others. That’s how my coaching business was created.

Since then, I have spent over 150 hours in classes, invested in advanced training, and spend hundreds of hours applying and refining these techniques in both personal and professional settings.

And Now

I continue to learn from and collaborate with this doctor in Salt Lake City, UT.

I'm genuinely grateful to be able to support people who feel stuck- especially those who feel like they've tried everything and still don't have clarity.

From personal experience, I know what it feels like to spend hundreds of dollars without knowing if you'll actually find the direction you're looking for. I know how hard it can be to decide what to try next. But I've also seen that the biggest changes often begin with one step of hope.

Maybe this can be a place to start hoping again.

If this feels right for you, let's talk!
